Shift Work Life Consulting, LLC is a coaching and consulting firm specializing in executive leadership, organizational culture and policy, and life transitions, including parental leave. We help law firms, corporations, and higher education institutions design transformative policies and practices to support and retain a diverse workforce. Our coaching guides individuals to orient their work lives around strengths and values, navigating significant life changes. We promote health and wellness in the long term, benefitting individuals and their organizations.
Founder and Consultant Marny Requa, J.D., is a gender equity specialist and RETAIN-certified parental leave coach. Marny's career has spanned professional environments ranging from law and academia to nonprofits, government, education, and media. She has extensive global experience, allowing her to understand the impact of culture and policies across professions and borders. Marny has held leadership roles in higher education for over 20 years and is a member of the New York Bar and an elected school board member in New Jersey.
At the core of Marny's consulting and coaching practice is trust in a client's vision and competencies and the belief that life transitions are professional development opportunities that lead to stronger employees and organizations. She works with experts in academia, law, mental health, and the burgeoning parental leave industry to support clients.
